Deploying and Maintaining Carrier Ethernet Services

The programme is designed mainly for administrators, network operators, and system administrators who know how to assemble and distribute carrier Ethernet services in network atmosphere. The main candidates of the Deploying and Maintaining Carrier Ethernet Services (DMCE) programme are Network administrators & operators and Systems administrators.

Eligibility

To be admitted in the Deploying and Maintaining Carrier Ethernet Services (DMCE) programme, one must know about the use of Cisco IOS command line interface to do assemblation, designing of hierarchial level 2 & level 3 networks, familiar with with QoS and SLA rules & methods,

The main aim of the Deploying and Maintaining Carrier Ethernet Services (DMCE) programme is as follows

By the end of the programme, students will be in a position to distinguish various Ethernet service and definition of MEF, different instruments used in carrier Ethernet system,
role of each instruments in carrier Ethernet system, assembling of CPE network to POP, etc.

Syllabus of Deploying and Maintaining Carrier Ethernet Services (DMCE) programme

The programme prepares candidates in assembling, administrating & deploying level 2 Ethernet services as determined by MEF on MPLS network. They are also trained to assemble CPE in order to link SP network. They also have the lab facilities.
