This course focuses in the technology that allows animations, interactive forms, games and other mixed-up features to be embedded in web pages, 2D animation, Television series, Microseries, Webisodes, mobisodes and the likes.The course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of animation and construct a stronger foundation for a deeper understanding of the basic root principles. Observational skills and the art of planning is developed. This course provides students with the advanced knowledge in principles of classical animation. The student will learn concepts such as squash and stretch, timing, path of action, anticipation, action-reaction, weight, volume, and staging. This course will also develop the student's animation design sense, with exercises in character design. The student will also learn technical skills to produce animation, such as how to flip and draw, and how to film animation using Light boxes & using punch sheets. Skills learned will be applied throughout the Digital Animation Program. An Introduction to the world of 2D Animation. The topics covered under this course are Foundation Art, Drawing for Animation, Animation principles & techniques. This course also teaches the student about essesntials of animation analysis, cartoon principles, and animation layout using traditional and digital techniques.This course designed to assist student to develop basic skills in 2D Animation by placing the students into production atmosphere.
