Course programme

Each module is scheduled for two months duration in which, every student gets hands-on training and then specialization in their strength domains
MODULE 01 : Traditional Art Skills for conceptulazing 3D AnimationDrawing and Cartooning from memory will be taught in this module using Clay sculpting prop building for character and set design visualizations
MODULE 02 : Digital Graphic Skills for 3D AnimationImage editing skills using digital tools and with reference to photography and CG Image generation with play of text and vectors will be mastered in this module to develople the skills required in UV texturing and Digital matte painting for 3D Animations
MODULE 03 : 3D Animation Pre-production SkillsWriting stories from and Idea and then putting it to Story Script format. Character development, Scene / Shot breakups for Screenplay, Drawing skills for Storyboarding & Animatics. Sound Recording. Overall Production Blueprint vizualitation will be covered in this module
MODULE 04 : 3D Animation Production skillsOpen-Source Blender 3D will be taught in this module to help student in production of their animation shorts. This module will cover - 01: The Blender Interface 02: Manipulating Objects 03: Edit Mode/Mesh Modeling 04: Object Edit Mode Modeling 05: Materials and Textures 06: Lighting 07: Animation 08: Modifiers 09: Blender Scenes and Modeling 10: Particles 11: Constraints 12: UV Textures/Sculpting 13: NURBS Surfaces/Meta Objects 14: Rigid Body Dynamics

MODULE 05 : 3D Animation Post-production SkillsThis module gives exposure to students with the intericacies of film editing color corrections and final output formats using various compression tools and techniques for Films, broadcast and webcasting outputs
MODULE 06 : Project PortfolioEach student will have his traditional sculptures, hand drawn Character & Prop Designs, CG, Digital artwork profiles along with individual project output of the following as their demoreels : Project 01: Jewellery Modeling & texturing for Ad Design Project 02: 3D Modelling of Robot for Mechanical Design Project 03: The Way Things Work in 3D Visualization Project 04: 3D Cartoon Character Sculpture Prototyping Project 05: Architecture Modelling and Walkthrough Project 06: Virtual Reality 3D Concept Project 07: Cartoon Animals in Comical Planet Project 08: Film Set Design using 3D for photorealism
