Diploma in Community Health

The college offer number of courses, one of the course is Diploma in Community Health. The course is offer under the Department of PSM.

PSM is the subject taught to M.B.B.S. students in first, second and third year (Part-I). The department has all basic facilities as per MCI requirements for the undergraduate teaching. The department has a separate lecture hall furnished with Audio-visual facility and can accommodate 60 students. Besides this, there is Practical hall with all facilities, Museum/Seminar/Library room & Research room.

The department also runs a Rural Health Training Center at Rameshwar Dist. Latur. This center is 27 K.M. away from Latur & caters Health services including investigative services to 10,000 population in 10 villages. The Dept also runs a well-equipped Urban Health Centre with investigative facilities in MIDC area, which is 4 km away from the College.

The department has planned to adopt 100 villages for comprehensive health care. 70 villages have been already surveyed up-to-date.

The department in nearby villages organizes multidiagnostic camps. So far 250 such camps are organized.

Recently the department has been permitted by MCI and M.U.S.H., Nashik to start M.D. course in PSM.
