Front office holds prime importance in revenue generating, as, from the sale of rooms it contributes to more than 50% of total hotel sales. It has a complementary role of image-building, which is the first & last point of contact of every guest. This job involves a number of activates such as reservation, welcome, registration, assignment of rooms & acts as a continuous source of information to guests during their stay at the hotel. Thus, a great effort is made to mobilize the course in such a way that the students get a fair idea of this department. Immediately after completion of this course the students are released for 6 months Industrial Training to get better opportunities in the executive cadres.
