Diploma in Geospatial Technology

The programme Diploma in Geospatial Technology is of six months duration and the minimum eligibility for getting admission in the programme is a bachelor degree in science, arts and engineering from recognized institutions in India and Abroad. The minimum percentage expected is 45% for getting admission. The knowledge of mapping & computer operations will be an advantage for the students. The programme includes subjects like Geography, Geology, Environment, Computers and Information Science, Civil Engineering, Planning and Architecture and others. The fulfilment of the criteria doesn't mean admission to the course.

Admission Process: The students have to qualify the entrance exam for getting admission in the course. The exam is of two hours and consists of 100 questions. The paper is divided into 4 sections like Geography, Computers, General Knowledge and Logic & Reasoning each of which is of 25 marks. The medium of the exam will be in english. The questions will be of MCQ types. Each MCQ will consists of a stem which may be in the form of a question or an incomplete statements & 4 responses labeled A, B, C & D. One of the 4 responses only is the correct or most appropriate answer. Students have to pick out the correct answer. The minimum percentage to qualify the exam is 45%.
