The training is aimed at equipping the candidate to carry out all the routine and some of the sophisticated diagnostic procedures. This is a short duration course, which gives immediate employment. A person qualified in DMLT can ge job as Laboratory Technician in hospital and pathology labs

Training
For Practical Training the students are posted in various labs and are engaged in day today work with senior technicians under supervision of pathologists. Following major laboratory disciplines are included in the syllabus in addition to basic sciences.
Biochemistry
Microbiology including Bacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology, and Virology
Pathology including Morbid, Anatomy, Histopathology. Cytology and Immunopathology.
Hematology including Blood Transfusion and clinical Pathology
