Diploma for Proficiency in Counselling

The One year Diploma for Proficiency in Counselling at the United Theological College, Bangalore, is open to any one who has the desire and motivation to work with people in thier difficulties and crisis situations. It is a practice-oriented module-based training programme which start in June and end in April every year. The Course syllabus covers the following: Basic Skills in Counselling; Psychological Theories; Stages of Development; Psychopathology and Treatment; Personal Counselling; Marriage and Family Counselling; Physical Illness / Psychological Disorders / Emotional Stress; Professional Issues and Stress; and other Contemporay issues
