Diploma in Software Systems

A hearing impaired person rarely gets an employment commensurate with his talent, intelligence and skills. He is generally considered suitable for craft work or skilled labour only. Consequently, there is no higher education facility now suitable for hearing impaired persons. The Diploma Course in Software Systems for hearing impaired students was started in 1998 as an attempt to provide higher education facilties in state-of-art subject to hearing impaired students.

The curriculum consisted of theory and practical in computer application areas. The course was highly flexible to include the updated advancements in the computer field and various software development tools. An awareness of all the current developments in the field was ensured. The course was highly student oriented and provided plenty of lab sessions. Nine batches of students successfully completed this course.
