· The Management reserves the right to fix the minimum qualifying marks for each of these components/subcomponents and/or change the components/subcomponents and their weightages.
· In case wherein the student has taken the MET CET and CAT Exams, only the MET CET Score will be considered.
· Students are expected to be dressed in formals for the Selection Procedure.
· For every wrong answer marks will get deducted.

Fee Structure

Fee for each certificate is Rs. 1,03,500/- (Rupees one lac three thousand and five hundred only).
Fees are payable by A/c Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'MET's AMDC' payable at Mumbai.

On being selected the students will have to pay total fees of first two certificates i.e. Rs. 2,07,000/- (Rupees two lacs and seven thousand only) immediately at the time of admission. Failing which the admission is liable to be cancelled. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.

Certificate Programme Outline

CERTIFICATE I:
Introduction to e-Business Management and Administration
(450 Hrs. Class Work + 150 Hrs. Field Work)
The objective of this module is to bring the students at par and build up strong knowledge base, which they need to utilise through out their professional careers. The students undergo rigorous training to develop their quantitative aptitude, understanding of accounts, industry and business. Therefore this module begins with rigorous Foundation Course.

CERTIFICATE II:
Advanced e-Business Management and Administration
(450 Hrs. Class Work + 200 Hrs. Field Work)
Today's manager is a multi-role business manager. He cannot afford to be confined to his own functions. As he climbs up the hierarchy, he needs to contribute in overall policy matters across the various functions of the organisation. This is another building block of excellence students undergo in the second module. They are exposed to various disciplines of management and organisational functions. These subjects are taught by blend of full-time and industry-based faculty. This is complemented with subjects like Research Methodology and Operations Research amongst others, which are important for conducting research and analysis.

Working in teams of various sizes, students participate in courses, events and activities that include:

· Case discussions
· Seminars
· Industrial assignments
· Presentations
· Workshops
· Lectures
· Team projects

Industry Internship

At the end of the Second Certificate the students are at liberty to do industry internship to gain valuable practical
experience. This lays a foundation for the final placements. Students work on specific assignments in the industry,
where they get the opportunity to apply their learnings, realise their areas of expertise and improve themselves.
They return after two months and concentrate on these aspects. The summer assignment is often considered a
stepping stone to the professional career the students aspire to pursue in future.

CERTIFICATE III:
Strategic e-Marketing/ Finance/ HR/ Systems/Operations
(450 Hrs. Class Work + 300 Hrs. Field Work)
In the third module students select the subjects, which are in the fields of Marketing/Finance/ HR/Systems/Operations. During this module students are exposed to the fundamentals and newly developed practices of their respective areas of specialisation.

CERTIFICATE IV:
Crossing the Corporate Threshold
(300 Hrs. Class Work + 500 Hrs. Field Work Internship)
In the fourth module students cross the final threshold to corporate management through a broad based participative placement programme with the industry. Under this programme, students take up extensive and intensive industry projects, necessitating long hours of work in the field to provide mutual value addition to industry and academia. The students join the industry in the fourth module, work five days a week and attend lectures on weekends. After completion of the hours required to be completed for class work plus fieldwork, certificate will be issued for a particular module. There is no compulsion of minimum time for each module. So long as the credits are achieved, the certificate will be issued accordingly.

Pedagogy and Assessment of Performance

The teaching methodology adopted at the institute will consist of classroom sessions wherein students will be exposed to case studies, experiential learning, role play, scenario building as well as live industry projects. The emphasis will be on developing the understanding of the subject by the students since they are expected to convert teachings into application and execution mode. To facilitate this interactive learning process, they will be mentored and subdivided into learning groups or work teams which will facilitate team working as well as collective learning. Their curriculum would include industry visits, rural visits, societal relief exposures besides industry internships. Students' participation in all these activities is compulsory.

Selected subjects like Principles of Management, Perspective Management, Strategic Management, etc. will be taught through Case study method. For all subjects, students are expected to come to the class well prepared and updated. Faculty may take surprise exams at any point in time during the semester. During the study, students will be assessed subject wise based on the weightages mentioned here.

Credit Points evaluation system

Every subject will be given maximum of 1 point for its credit and minimum credit points required to clear the subject is 0.5. These points will be given on the basis of students' marks in the subject. The certificates will be issued depending upon minimum 0.5 credit received in each subject for the certificate module. e.g. if maximum credit points are 11, minimum 5.5 credit points are required besides minimum 0.5 credit points in each subject.
