The department has produced several hundred Electrical Engineers some of whom are occupying very senior positions in their respective organizations both in India and abroad.

The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi approved the program vide No. F-2-15/B -III/RC - MB/26863 dated 31-03-'94. The department is ISO Certified and also accredited by NBA.

Focus area of study:

Electrical & Electronics Engineering: The department provides in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge to undergraduate students in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

New plans include starting of a Postgraduate program as well as a R & D centre to study various aspects of Power Systems and application of Information Science in respect of planning, operation and maintenance of Power Systems.

Why choose Electrical & Electronics Engineering:
Electrical Engg is an old but evergreen course in the engineering stream. An Electrical Engineering graduate has various options to choose for career growth viz. he can easily switch over to software field and can opt for design/fabrication of electronic hardware and thus can become an entrepreneur also. He can also work in the Instrumentation Technology or in Medical Electronics fields. However there is ample scope for growth as a core Electrical Engineer.

Why choose DSCE:
EleThe Department possesses very reputed and highly qualified faculty. Senior faculty bring with them decades of academic and research experience. All the faculty members are highly committed rightly demonstrated in the academic performance of our students. Faculties motivate students in building their personality through extra - curricular and co-curricular activities turning out a well-groomed individual.
