By the time the students graduate, they may have decided to specialize in any one of the following fields like microprocessors, electronics, communication system, electronics product design, satellite and mobile communication etc. Probably this can get extended beyond the particular stream of electronics engineering, if the study modules within JCET.
JCET trains the students scientifically and systematically with very rigorous initial groundings in fundamental concepts to gradual and continuous increase in complexity and applied technologies.
A significant proportion of total time of student is spent in laboratory work and library. Enormous volumes of references available in the library enables the students to get sufficient knowledge related topics of the subjects. Periodicals, magazines and journals related to innovative and advanced topics in communication engineering are available in the library.
The well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories with pleasing and ultra modern ambiance facilitate for fruitful exercise in experiments and project works. Group and individual project works allow students to develop apt skills needed by the employers.
In addition to regular tests and assignments given to evaluate the learning skills of students, they are encouraged to present individual as well as group seminars to develop their analytical communication skills and capability of presentation. The syllabus is designed to develop the knowledge of the subject. The gradual growth of their understanding of the subject as whole is envisaged in the curriculum.
The career paths followed are equally diverse, ranging from electronics product design to electrical plant maintenance, from research to production and from technical focus to customer focus. This course can also be used as stepping stone to other professions such as management and marketing.
