Emergency Medical Technician - Basic:

The minimum eligibility to do the EMT Paramedic certification course is that the candidate should have successfully completed B. Sc or GNM Nursing with EMT-B international certification program. IIEMS offers EMT-B certification though Bucks County Community College - Pennsylvania USA. EMT-B is a 3-month program comes with American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certifications and also involves theory and skills training in the following areas also;

Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic:

After a candidate successfully completes the EMT-B certification program with 6-months of theory (with EMS and ED clinical rotations) and next 3 months of Field Internship. The candidates will also undergo certification in American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). In addition to this the candidate will also be given opportunity to undergo the much sought after American College of Surgeons' Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) international certification program. Clinical Rotations

Candidates who complete EMT-P program will be awarded certification from Bucks County Community College - PA USA and will be internationally recognized as a certified Paramedic thus opening up immense career opportunities as an EMT in US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East!
