Course programme

ENGINE ROOM SIMULATOR- MANAGEMENT LEVEL is a five days program & is recognized by the Indian Administration.
Target of the program:
Apprentices will be aware with the instruments, the control & the arrangement offered by the simulators & the supervisory aspect of the whole engine area. Apprentices will be trained in energy management, control of machines for peaks & top performances, emergency operations & others.
The program is fundamentally applied & contains largely a sequence of trainings done on a ship engine simulators. Selected classroom lecture provides the essential academic training for the exercises, are in the syllabus. Specific matters handle within these classes are validated either by counting them as part of an exercise or by a distinct simulator demonstrations.
The training increases in intricacy as the program goes on & as apprentices become acquainted with the engine room layouts, various instruments & interconnections among different instruments & their reply to the alterations made at the control in different circumstances. The final training deals with troubleshooting & will makes use of knowledge & skill learnt in all the earlier training. Instrument failures & malfunctions may be presented during an training to give apprentices rehearsal in taking emergency corrective actions.
Each training will be headed by a meeting for updating & developing & will be followed by a group discussions, led by the instructors, to analyze the action & decision of the apprentices.
candidates with Class IV with Part B & 12 months sea services of which 180 days are propelling time.
