Our unique course appeals to students interested in producing or understanding media texts, how language works and how to use language to create particular effects. Course programme

Our course combines theory with practice at all levels and explores the connections between language and media work.

You will look at the creation of meaning, particularly in terms of contemporary media. You will also work on your independent project and choose from optional modules, allowing you to specialise and focus more on your own particular media interests.

What will you gain?
Alongside the development of your language skills and understanding of media, you will be involved in hands on individual and group project work, helping you learn how to work effectively independently and within a team. These experiences ensure you are fully prepared for employment on completion of the course.
