Description

Chronic kidney disease is an international medical problem that doesn't differentiate between social and economic borders. It is particularly cruel in developing countries, such as Africa and India, where delayed diagnosis, lack of preventive measures, shortage of nephrologists and lack of funds have created what is tantamount to a death sentence for many patients diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

Dialysis is a critical component in nephrology patient care and generally is prescribed when the kidneys have outlived their ability to function.
This course is an endeavour to prepare physicians for the upcoming scenario more efficiently.
