Course programme

Students are exposed to a combination of different creative disciplines / subjects ensuring a focused, relevant knowledge spectrum, while HODs provide close interaction, guidance, direction and final recommendation for a specific specialization during the 3rd year of the program.

PROGRAM SUBJECTS:
1) Photography: History, Theory, Techniques and Processing, Image Manipulation
2) Fine Arts: Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, Traditional Illustration, Digital Illustration
3) World History of Arts: Complete Chronology
4) Animation: History, Principles, Animation Pre-production, Production, Post-production, Flash Animation
5) Design Theory
6) Basics of Color Management
7) Film History and Appreciation (module)


PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
1) The Degree provides the student with the status of a Graduate.
2) It also enables further Master's level studies in India.
3) The International Diploma provides:
a) International acceptance.
b) The option of higher studies abroad with preferential admission at
select associated institutions.
c) Skill-set and Portfolio of global standards.
d) Immediate employability by top corporates.

In three years after plus 2, the student is nationally and internationally qualified, and ready for either higher studies (in India or abroad) or direct employment by elite companies and corporate groups via Campus Placement and NICC-arranged interviews.

PROGRAM DURATION: 6 semesters (extention into 7th semester is allowed for the purpose of Portfolio project finalization and NICC Placement Programme)
