Graphic Design-Image Synthesis: Computer Graphic Production

For students who specialize in the Graphic Design program, emphasis is placed on Creative problem solving. Decision-making and Design Application are practiced at every level as the students are given design situation to solve. Graduates in this fields have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in entry-level positions in Advertising, Graphic Design, Publishing, Packaging, Multimedia, Web Design and many other areas.

Animation and Digital image processing techniques are a major part of Film and Video Production. Computer Animation tools and software for moving pictures are explored and applied to digital production. Main topic areas include Color Correction, Effects ad Composting, Selective Lighting, Digital painting and Texturing.

This class is also for texture students who want to explore Multi-patch nurbs and Polygon model texturing, Shading, Rendering and Texturing. Students pursue advanced projects and work on creating fully rendered portfolio quality images using tools Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Draw.
