More information
Description
The Human Development Forum Foundation (HDFF) is a Thai independent non-governmental organization without any political or religious affiliations.
HDFF is registered since 2007 and currently operates two offices in Thailand, namely Bangkok and Narathiwat.
We provide cutting-edge research in the field of human security, as well as safety and security training, (project) management training and security consultancies.
Aid workers are increasingly operating in insecure and dangerous environments but projects usually do not provide any budget for the safety of the implementing staff. HDFF, as a non-profit organization, is able to offer reasonably priced safety and security trainings (in comparison to for-profit corporations) to (I)NGO staff as HDFF believes it is vital to reach organizations of all levels.
HDFF furthermore conducts research on human security issues, currently specializing on ASEAN 2015 related topics and security consultancies on Myanmar as well as for conferences for international NGO’s.
All of HDFF’s programs fit under our understanding of development, i.e. providing knowledge to communities and leaders, to fulfill HDFF’s motto “knowledge improves life”.
