International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA) was established by Satish Kumar and Abha Modi in Modinagar, NCR of Delhi in July 2000. Its aim was to provide education and training to students on a wide spectrum of Fine Arts. IIFA is around 45 km. north of New Delhi. The institute has a huge 10 acre campus with a built-up area of about 200,000 sq.ft. The Institute has also initiated a programme for artists-in-residence. The venue has a 20 acre orchard with a colonial-style palatial bungalow and a village pond, an ideal location for artists, both foreign and Indian, to come together. Modinagar, very close to New Delhi, is now a centre for education where facilities are available in the field of Management, Fashion, Medicine, Engineering, Computer education, not to mention the various schools and colleges. A reputed Art and Design institute was missing and the Institute of Fine Arts ideally fills this gap. The Institute offers degree courses in Fine Art, including Fashion & Apparel Design, Textile Design & Applied Art. It is affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut for the 4 year B.F.A. Course. Besides this, the Institute is also providing two year diploma and one year certificate in the above mentioned streams, along with Photography and Advanced Diploma in Computer Graphics and 3D Animation.The core of the Institute is its students and faculty.
