Most importantly it imparts the values and attitudes necessary to perform at the highest level.
The curriculum is designed by the Academic Advisory Council (consisting of eminent academics and top industry people) of IIFP keeping in mind certain things like – A) The right and industry relevant knowledge is imparted to the would be managers so that the corporates can directly assign responsibilities to them without any additional training. B) There is no alternative to real world experience. The lessons learnt on job cannot be substituted by class room teaching. Hence in the second year of MBAplus the class room teaching compliment the learning from job. The students complete the PGD -FPWM in the very first year, along with one year of university degree. This makes the student ready and well equipped to work in corporates. Students start working and simultaneously pursue the remaining part of MBA by attending weekend classes. A job at the end of second semester not only gives the students a year of relevant experience but also ensure that the financial burden remains minimum.
