Integrated Ph.D. Program: Chemical Sciences

The Chemical Division includes the Department of Inorganic and Physical chemistry, Materials Research Centre, Solid State Structural Chemistry unit and Sophisticated Instruments Facility. Each department/ centre/ unit offers courses on specialized topics designed to provide students with the necessary theoretical background and introduction to laboratory methods. Core courses are compulsory courses which every student is expected to credit. Integrated Ph.D. students have several courses as core courses in all the branches of chemistry offered by the faculty.
