What you will study
For the Certificate, you must achieve 13 credits which are acquired by successfully passing assignments in the following 5 units:- * Improving Productivity Using ICT (Mandatory Unit) - learn to plan and review the use of appropriate IT systems and software. * Word Processing Software - covers creating/managing files and folders and using word processing software to create and edit text files using basic formatting techniques. * Spreadsheet Software - gain knowledge in the use of a spreadsheet to enter, edit and present numerical data using formulae and basic formatting and graphing tools. * Database Software - learn how to use a database to add, amend, select, sort and print data within tables, queries and reports. * Presentation Software - enables you to produce, edit and present visual information using basic formatting tools, including importing an image file. *For the Award, you must achieve 9 credits by passing assignments in three of the above units (excluding Improving Productivity Using ICT).
