Course programme

What you will Study Diploma in Business Administration Level 2; Mandatory Units: • Communication in a Business Environment • Understand Employer Organisations • Principles of Providing Administrative Service • Principles of Business Document Production and Information Management • Manage Personal Performance and Development • Develop Working Relationships with Colleagues There are 53 optional units to choose from that will assist in the development of a wide range of business skills. Functional Skills in English, Maths and I.T. Maths, English and I.T. are key elements of your Apprenticeship Framework. If you do not already have a GCSE at grade A*-C in these subjects you will be required to study Functional Skills at the appropriate levels. Skills in Maths and English will support your apprenticeship programme, assisting you with assignment writing, research, job applications, presentations, managing your own finances and interpretation of data, to mention just a few. They will also help you in the future. Most employers are looking for ability in these areas and the majority of university courses require you to have Maths and English GCSEs at A*-C. This is why the development of Maths and English is so important, whatever your field of study.
How you will Learn You will work with an assessor who will guide you through your programme of learning to produce a portfolio of evidence, within your workplace.
How you will be Assessed Assessments will take place both in the workplace and at College.
