M.A. Economics

The Department offers M.A. (Economics) with specialisation in Econometrics. The programme aims at developing an understanding of principles of formulating, estimating and empirically testing economic relationships. The programme also helps in appreciating the interplay between economic theory, econometric technique and data in empirical work.

The post graduate programme with only special group of Econometrics at MA ( Final ) level will be offered. Department shall offer admission to 20 candidates strictly on the basis of merit.

Eligibility

48 percent marks in aggregate at graduate level.
