M. A. KEERTAN SHASTRA

Keertanshastra is an age-old tradition of Maharashtra, which has sprung from the champu style of Sanskrit literature. Champu is an admixture of prose and poetry. Thus study of Keertanshastra is closely related with the Sanskrit literature. The preservation and continuity of this rich tradition is responsibility of each generation. Therefore, for the people who want to study and preserve this tradition the present course is designed. A student of this course is taught the Marathi literature, Sanskrit literature, Darshana and the Prayoga. Detailed study of the Narada Prayoga and Warkari Prayoga will be provided for the student.
