A pioneering effort of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, this course is an
amalgamation of media and management, providing the right mix of media knowledge and management expertise to students.
Activities in a media house do not involve only reporting, writing, editing, production,content creation and so on. Major departments include Advertising Department, Circulation Department, Marketing Department, Production Department, and others. These departments have to work in sync with the Editorial, News and Programming departments, for which they need an in-depth understanding of both media and
management. Such an expertise is also in demand in advertising and PR agencies, for whom an understanding of the media business is crucial.
