Master in Physiotherapy with cardiopulmonary specilisation is a full time contact program offered by Sri Ramachandra University, chennai 600116. The program has 2 yearly pattern. First year will have subjects on Anatomy and kinesiology, Physiology and bioenergetics, Physical Rehabilitation, Biostatistics and Research Methodology. Second year will be dealing with specialty oriented subjects including physiotherapy in intensive care, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, exercise testing and evaluation. The second year also comprises of Teaching methodology. The student has to submit a dissertation or thesis in his/ her specialty before 2nd year university examination to be eligible for appearing for the examination. The curriculum has hand on teaching in clinical set up. The student will have University level theory as well as clincial examinations at both first and second year.
