Unit -I
Quantitative Techniques :- An introduction to quantitative techniques,
role of quantitative techniques in business and industry and limitations
of quantitative techniques.

Non-Parametric Test:- Chi-Square test, Sign test-one sample and
Paired-sample sign test, Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, Mann-Whitney
tat, Kreskas-Wallis Test and hald-Wolfowitz Run Test.


Research Methodology-I


Unit -I
Research: Meaning, Characteristics, types and Relevance of Research;
Research Process; Identification and Formulation of the Research
Problem.
Unit -II
Hypothesis; Meaning, Types, Need, Functions and Sources of
Hypothesis; Process of setting Hypothesis.
Concepts: Meaning, Significance, Characteristics, types; How to Use
concepts; Operationalisation of Concepts.
