Course programme
M.Phil. in English
The M.Phil. programme is divided into two streams, language, and literature. A course on Research Methodology is common and compulsory for both the streams. There is one compulsory course each for the two streams. After completing these taught courses, students are offered some partially taught courses, after which they are offered reading courses. After the course work is over, students have to appear for a final examination, after which they are expected to write their dissertations on the topics they have chosen.
