Course has regular practice of taking regular attendance of the students, students seminars, group discussions, Literary quiz programmes, publication of wall papers, conducting study tours, arranging jnansatras, seminars, workshops etc. Invite visiting fellows and eminent scholars. Dept. has their own alumni association with various activities. Our faculty members providing services to our and other Universities as member or chairperson of the various power bodies of University, like senate, syndicate, board of studies, etc... Our faculty members providing their services to Gujrati Sahitya Parishad, Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Government and NGO, GPSC and UPSC, Aakashvani, Television, Newspapers, Radio center, News letter editing. Topic & monograph writers in different Encyclopedia and dictionary. They are rendering their services to the various societal organization and institution in different categories, organizing and conducting lectures, seminars, symposia, workshops as a participant or chair person.
