M.Phil:Wildlife and Management

The Kuvempu University offers M.Phil:Wildlife and Management course to its students. The course structure for it is as follows:

The department started during the year 2003 to give more emphasis on Wildlife and Biodiversity studies. The intake of the students was restricted to 20+4. The syllabus has been framed in keeping the importance of the Western Ghats area. Presently one permanent staff member has been appointed in this department. The department of Applied Zoology is jointly working for the progress of the Wildlife and Management department. Right now seven members have been completed the course and working in different fields. Out of them two candidates are pursuing their Ph.D. and one candidate has joined for M.Phil degree.
