M.A. Sanskrit

MA Sanskrit, a two-year post graduate programme, provides in-depth study of the Sanskrit language. Oral communication in Sanskrit is also a part of the curriculum. One has to read as many texts as possible, to excel in both written and oral communication in the language. Teaching in schools and colleges is an obvious option, after completing MA Sanskrit course. Candidates can also go into the field of language research after completing the postgraduate course, such as archaeological work, reading and understanding of ancient manuscripts, etc
