M.Sc(Applied Mathematics)

Department of Applied Mathematics is an important and integral part of Faculty of Engg. & Tech., situated inside the campus of M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (U.P.). Presently it shares with some other departments a very limited portion of Nehru Kendra, an important building of Fac. of Engg. & Tech. However, its own separate building is under the final stages of construction and is expected to be available very shortly.

Activities of the department concern basically with maths. portion of B. Tech. and B. Pharm. Courses. Also, it deals with M.Sc. course in Applied maths and provides adequate facilities for doing Ph.D. in Mathematics. All these are in tune with the standard norms of UGC, AICTE and other concerned bodies.

Regular faculty members though not adequate in number, yet are capable of managing efficiently all the above activities with the help of suitable Guest Faculties provided by the University from time to time. Number of regular faculties is likely to increase in near future.

The department is equipped with modern facilities like computers linked with internet and we are thus in close and quick contact of latest mathematical activities all around us.
