Department offers admission to 15 candidates for its M.Sc. programme with specialisation in Analytical Chemistry at M.Sc. (Final) level. Admission shall be offered strictly on the basis of merit.
Rajasthan has been called as ‘Museum of Minerals'. Next to Bihar, it possesses the widest range of mineral deposits which are of great economic value. In the case of some minerals like Pb, Zn, Ag ores, Emeralds and rock phosphates the state occupies a monopoly in the country. While others like gypsum, soap stone, asbestos, copper, marble, quartz, silica and tungsten etc. have the leading share of production.
Eligibility
Candidate having obtained 55 percent marks in aggregate in B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the optional subjects or in B.Sc. Hons. (Chemistry).
