M.Sc. Electronic Media

The Guru Nanak Dev University's Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers M.Sc. Electronic Media to its students. The course structure for it is as follows:

Web Design and Web Media Production
Multimedia Communication System
Global Electronics Media and Multimedia Authoring Tools
Video and Radio Production
Electronics Measurement & Instrumentation
Graphics and Animation
Radio Editing and Production Laboratory
Graphic and Animation Laboratory

Field Training: Soon after the end term examination of Ist year
the students will have to undergo 6 weeks training in reputed
institute/ Media related Industry/ Centers such as TV Channels,
Production house, Advertisement Agency, Doordarshan, All
India Radio, Multimedia Houses. The students will have to
submit a report of the training to the College/Department. The
institute where the candidate undergoes training will submit a
performance report/certificate along with assessment marks out
of a maximum of 100. These documents must be confidential
and sent direct to the department/College for onward
transmission to the university
