M.Tech (Applied Electronics)

The programme of Applied Electronics offers an interdisciplinary curriculum combining electronics and electrical engineering with materials and devices engineering, systems and information engineering, mechanical engineering as well as instrumentation and control engineering and aims at educating the students to become creative and flexible engineers capable of playing a leading role in a wide range of engineering fields.
Applied Electronics Engineers are employed in industries manufacturing electronics equipment, research and development and places where electronics devices are extensively used e.g. television and radio broadcasting, aerospace industry and automobile industry. They also have attractive openings in utility companies like MTNL. They also have the option to take on teaching and research.
