M. Tech. Bioelectronics

Tezpur University conducts M. Tech. (Bioelectronics) for its students. The Bio-Electronics Division, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering of Tezpur University has introduced a full time 2-year M.Tech Programme in Bioelectronics from August, 2004. This programme has been approved by the University Grants Commission under its Innovative Programmes-Teaching and research in interdisciplinary and emerging areas. The course has also been recognized by the AICTE. The course works at the interface of many leading disciplines such as Electronics, Bio-Medical, Neuro-Engineering, Computing, Bio-Informatics, Bio-Sensors etc. and is therefore capable of producing professionals in the fields of medical, military, food, bio-tech and bio-sensor industries. The main aim of this course is to prepare students for carriers in bio-electronics field characterized by leadership and communication skills and a commitment to do work for the advancement of human society.
