M.Tech (Biotechnology and Bio Chemical Engineering)

Society is being reshaped by the technological application of the tools of modern biology. Biotechnology and Biochemical plays a key role in manufacturing pharmaceuticals, biomaterials and agents for gene and cell therapies. In addition, biological approaches play a pivotal role in the processing of new classes of renewable commodity resources. This program provides specific education to students who want to enter and contribute to these growing industries, or for in-depth preparation for future study for those interested in biotechnology.
The programme includes core courses in biological sciences and biochemical engineering. Students will be able to pursue a brilliant career in research itself or they can also be employed in research companies or institutes dealing with this branch.
