M.Tech in Civil Engineering:Engineering Geosciences

For M.Tech. a student has to credit eight courses out of which at least one course has to be from outside his/her area of specialization and one course from outside the Department. In the Ph.D. programme, a student is required to credit 4 to 6 courses depending on his/her academic background and research requirements. The various courses offered from time to time in each area of specialization are listed below

Engineering Geosciences
Earth system Processes, Environmental Geology, Geological Hazards, Resource Exploration techniques, Satellite Remote Sensing & GIS for Georesource evaluation, Photo geology in Terrain Evaluation, Global climate Pleoseismology and Tectonic Geomorphology.
