M.Tech. program in Chemical Engineering

`The four semester M.Tech. program attracts approximately 40 students each year. These students take six courses (of which at least three from compulsory areas of Reactor Design, Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena and Mathematics or Numerical Methods, the remaining from among several state-of-art electives). This is followed by six course units (and a summer) of research.

Every year about 8 to 10 students are admitted into our Doctoral degree program. A doctoral student is expected to complete at least four graduate level courses. Every year about five to six students are awarded the Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering.
