MA in ARABIC

The Department has been Publishing an annual research Journal MAJALLAH-AL-DIRASAT Al-ARABIA (Journal of Arabic Studies) since Dec 2002. Moreover, the department organizes weekly Arabic seminar under the auspices of AL-ARABI (Arabic Literary Society).

a) Nature of expansion in the existing program 1. Introduction of new areas of specialization in research programmes at M.Phil/Ph.D level. b) Proposals for new programmes 1. Introduction of one year part-time Diploma for those undergraduate candidates who pass the Certificate Courses in order to make a three year pattern of the professional course in Modern Spoken Arabic consisting of: i) Certificate ii) Diploma iii) Advances Diploma on the pattern followed in other universitites like J.N.U, J.M.I, C.I.E.F.L and A.M.U 2. Diploma in translation and interpretation 3. Preparation and publication of Arabic textbooks for undergraduate classes.
