PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
1st Semester Modules:
History of Art and Design
Traditional Illustration and Digital Illustration
Design Theory with Typography
Photography and Digital Imaging
Layout and Layout Software Platforms
Advertising Concepts and Principles, Communication and Copywriting
Objectives:
- understanding concepts of communication and advertising design,
- Introduction to and development of mental tools and work processes

History of Art and Design (individual presentation based)

Digital Illustration
Advertising Design, Planning and Strategies
Packaging Design: Ergonomics, Materials, Production Processes
Projects
Objective: Total immersion in work processes for different applications with respect to specialization

Color management
Software platforms integration (with regard to specialization choice)
Specialization Projects
Objective: tools integration, achieving responsiveness, quality delivery, and teamwork practice

Portfolio preparation
Internship / Placement program
3rd and 4th semester are based on live projects in NICC Services Division, possible internships for deserving students in advertising agencies, publishing houses, print design studios, packaging design studios etc.
PROGRAM DURATION: 4 semesters
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES:
1) The student is enabled and competent to enter the high-level job market.
2) It enables further Doctorate level studies in India or abroad.
3) The International Diploma provides:
a) International acceptance.
b) The option of higher studies abroad with preferential admission at select associated institutions.
c) Skill-set and Portfolio of global standards.
d) Immediate employability by top corporates.
