Official University Master's degree that provides the advantage of doing work experience at foreign universities and the possibility of being a candidate for an "Erasmus placement" grant. It prepares you both for research and for professional development. It lasts one year (60 ECTS)

Important information

Requirements: Graduates in Catalonian or Spanish language and literature or any other language or philology, linguistics, translation, education sciences and others. C1 level of Spanish or Catalonian.

Nationally recognised qualification: Official University Master's degree - Ministry of Education

Course programme

The Master's programme is made up of 5 modules and covers two different itineraries:
  • Acquiring and teaching Spanish as a second language
  • Acquiring and teaching Catalonian as a second language
All students must study these subjects:
  • Basics and methodology
  • Language and society
  • Master's thesis

Additional information

The master's degree price for foreign students non residents in Spain, non nationals from EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Andorra is € 65,41 per credit ECTS. Year 2013-2014.
