Master of Computer Application (MCA)
Nalanda Open University is functioning through different schools and The school of Computer and Information Sciences is one of them.The School is under over-all supervision of two full time computer experts, namely, Amar Nath Pandey (MCA,M.Phil.) and Smt. Kiran Pandey (MCA). Besides, a host of other computer experts are drawn from reputed institutions to do counselling and teaching work for students offering computer courses.. Through this School, the University is imparting education and practical training in Master of Computer Application (MCA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programmes and a nine months' Certificate Course in Computing (CIC). The University has also introduced a four weeks' course in home usages of computers, on a nominal fee basis, for laymen, senior citizens, and house-wives etc. with a view to providing these sections of society enough knowledge and practice of computer handling so that they can perform their day-to-day work on-line and make use of computer for works, like, railway reservation, banking transactions, word processing, letter drafting, telephony, use of internet etc.
