Master of Social Work

Master of Social Work course critically engages with the knowledge, theories and values that constitute the foundation of the social work profession. Master of social work course introduce students to selected theoretical systems and, illustrate how social work might engage with these systems critically. It will adopt an issue-base approach to bridge theories with specific social work practice situations in every day life. Critical practice, Homelessness, HIV/AIDS and etc., examine various courses (example Historical, Colonial, Economics, Political, Social and Ideological forces) that create situation of the marginalization of various groups to gain critical awareness of
(1) Public Social Policies as the out come of Computing Social Political and Economic Forces and priorities and
(2) The implication of Social Policy choice for social work practice.
