Master of Tourism Management (M.T.M.)

Established in 1999, the young department aims to foster the development of commerce education at university campus. Academic programme intends to equip students with the requisite training and education in issues relating to economic administration and financial management of private and public sector organisation. Department presently focuses on Cooperation as a mechanism to supplement the developing economy. Department has recently initiated a self-financing Masters programme in Tourism.

Extension Program

Exchange of information is vital to the good health of any body of knowledge. Understanding this fully well the department engages in a good number of extension activities. Faculty is also engaged with extension programme for various governmental and non-governmental agencies.

Tourism industry is the fastest growing sector in Indian economy and stands third in earning foreign exchange. There is a great demand for professionals who are qualified for managing such service organization. This self-financing course fully equips the students with the latest management techniques and skills for successfully managing the hotel and tourism business. Intake to 30 seats is on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
