Master with the latest technologies in geology Official Master in Geology (UB)

Three-dimensional reservoir characterisation and analog or numerical modelling of geological processes are two recent trends contained in this official Master given jointly by the Universidad de Barcelona and the Autónoma de Barcelona, taught entirely in English, lasting one year. The programme develops the main lines of R&D&I that are being developed in geological and geophysical exploration and characterisation.

About this course

European bachelor's degree or equivalent, mainly in Geology, Physics, Geological Engineering or Mining Engineering. Candidates with degrees in other fields will be admitted with complementary studies of up to 30 ECTS. Command of English.

Course programme

The Master consists of 60 credits ECTS, 15 of which part of are mandatory coursework, 20 are optional and 25 are part of a Master's Thesis.
