The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to MBA (Focused Oil & Gas Sector) is that the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
The flagship two year full time residential programme leading to Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is organized on the basis of three terms in a year. The programme is focused on energy sector with emphasis on Oil & Gas sector. Accordingly, the entire curriculum is designed to meet the requirements of the particular sector. Curriculum To complete the credit requirements of the entire programme, students take about 47-50 courses together in the first and the second year. While the first year courses are generic in nature; the second year courses (most of which are elective courses) have been specially designed to cater to the need and requirements of energy sector. Since the energy sector is global in nature, all the courses focus on a global business perspective.
