Masters in Dental Surgery

The theory examinations shall be held sufficiently earlier than the Clinical and Practical examination, so that the answer books can be assessed and evaluated before the start of the Clinical / Practical and Oral examination.
A student must be eligible for appearing in the final examination, along with 80% attendance in classes (which shall include theory classes, practical / clinical classes, clinical rounds, seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, clinical meetings, clinico-pathological conferences and others)
A candidate will be admitted to the M.D.S. examination only after attending the scheduled teaching and training programme of the course to the satisfaction of the Head of the Department and the Institution. Further, he/she will be eligible to sit for M.D.S. Examination only after acceptance of his/ her thesis.
· A candidate after passing M.D.S. Examination in one discipline may again appear in the Entrance Test for admission to another discipline of M.D.S. course. Such a candidate shall be required to pursue a course of two and a half years. He/she shall have to fulfill all other requirements for M.D.S. Examination including the criterion of a fresh thesis.
